Wir waren dieses Jahr mal wieder in Thailand und verbrachten dort 4 Wochen super scöne Ferien. Die ersten Photos vom Heimatdorf findet ihr hier: Ban Jok 2012.
Lanee's Resort
In Ban Na Paeng, einem Nachbardorf von Ban Jok, ist Lanee's Resort. Hans-Joerg Jaeger und Lanee sind aus der Schweiz ausgewandert (dies wurde auch auf SF1 in der Dok Serie Auswanderer gezeigt) und haben eine schönes Resort für ältere Leute aufgebaut. Wir konnten uns das Ganze während 10 Tagen mal anschauen und uns dort super erholen. Die Fotos findet ihr hier: Lanee's Resort 2012.

A new beginning

Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication
Francz.com was getting boring, at least our index page needed a fresh layout and some new ideas.
I wanted to sort out all the old stories and get a new platform to publish the new ones. I hope I succeded in creating a new homepage for our entire family inluding our new family member Keanu Chadsiam Liam, our 7 month old son.
I am currently involved in a project that tries to simplify the presentation of information for the learning community at the university of Basel. The goal is to teach our faculty how they can present their printed media for the stdents in a simple way with Adobe InDesign. While I searched the net for 'visual design' and 'information design' I stumbled across a citation from Leonardo da Vinci:
Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.
